Epson vs Ricoh Printheads: How to Choose for 360° Curved UV Printers

For 360° curved UV printers, printheads decide printing precision, speed and long-term stability. Epson and Ricoh are two mainstream options with distinct strengths.

Epson printheads’ core merit is ultra-fine detail. Adopting micro piezo tech, it delivers tiny 3.5pl ink droplets and up to 1440DPI resolution, producing smooth gradients and delicate logos on wine bottles, tumblers and small curved goods. Industrial Ricoh G5/G6 printheads support a 15–20 mm gap, performing better on bottles with sharp tapers or irregular shapes.
